What Design Thinking Is and How It Can Work for You

The tension between risk and reward can stifle our ability to approach both our day-to-day responsibilities and new problems in thoughtful and forward-thinking ways. Design thinking is about breaking away from established methods and techniques, and building more thoughtful, human-centered solutions through reflection, deconstruction, brainstorming, and experimentation. This workshop will address what Design Thinking is, why it is relevant, and some approaches and techniques through instruction, discussion, and a short exercise.
