Historic Maps from Paper to the Screen

Historic paper maps offer a wealth of information useful for examining spatial change over time. But how do you combine this information in paper format with GIS data layers, or incorporate it into your interactive web map? In this workshop, learn how to find free-to-use high-resolution images of historic maps in digital libraries at Cornell and around the world, and transform those images into geo-rectified digital layers you can add to your web mapping or GIS project.
