Use Zotero Effectively

Zotero is a freemium, powerful, easy-to-use research tool that helps you gather and organize citations and sources such as pdfs. This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of adding citations and PDFs and creating properly formatted citations in your writing as well as tips and strategies for incorporating Zotero into your research workflow. Accompanying handouts will be delivered prior to the workshop; download and set-up instructions need to be completed beforehand.

 

This will be a hybrid workshop with in person and Zoom attendance options. All attendees should register in advance.

 

  • In person attendees: Bring a laptop to the workshop (Zotero does not have full functionality on a Chromebook, tablet, or phone). Feel free to bring afternoon pick me up snacks and beverages.
