Join us for this basic introduction to GitHub! You’ll learn how to create and manage a GitHub repository, make and save changes using commits, edit files, upload content, and create branches to test changes—all through the GitHub web interface. No command line or Git experience required! 

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to: 

• Create and manage a GitHub repository, make commits to track changes, and use the web interface to edit files, upload content, and organize their work. 

• Contribute to shared projects by creating branches, making changes, and opening pull requests to propose updates without affecting the main project directly. 

• Collaborate on projects by knowing where to review pull requests, resolve basic merge conflicts, and navigate the commit history.
