Demystifying the Literature Review
Note: THIS WORKSHOP IS ASYNCHRONOUS. You may view the workshop at any time by following this link: Demystifying the Literature Review video link.
Ready to start forming a research strategy for the research component of your master's thesis or doctoral dissertation? Or considering a review for your undergraduate thesis this year? Join us to start or accelerate the literature review for your thesis or dissertation. In this workshop we will cover the steps of conducting a literature review, give you a checklist for drafting your topic and search terms, introduce you to citation management software for organizing your results, and explore a journal database together with tips and tricks for getting the most out of your searches. This workshop is a good strategic complement to Search Literacy workshop (9/28), which will explain details of advanced database searching. If you are just interested in learning about evidence synthesis protocols and systematic reviews specifically, please consider the "Nuts & Bolts of Systematic Reviews" workshop on 9/24 instead.
You can watch the pre-recorded workshop on Cornell's Video on Demand site: Demystifying the Literature Review video link
